VM Restart Priorities
In the past, we’ve had 3 restart priorities that can be used with VM Overrides:
- Low
- Medium
- High
However, as we introduced the Orchestrated Restart, and more customers are adding overrides for specific VMs, we felt it would be beneficial to add in two additional settings:
- Lowest
- Highest
In doing so, we give you even more flexibility to create restart order tiers.
*Note: When using tiers, all VMs in a single tier must restart before vSphere HA will move on to the next tier.
Obviously, this isn’t the most ground-breaking update, but it’s beneficial and I thought I’d throw this out there as an FYI for those who use, or are looking to use VM Overrides and VM Restart Priorities.
